“We got Max 2 days after Christmas! He was my “surprise” gift! He was a year and 4 months … still a puppy! A puppy like I’ve never had before! Immediately I knew I needed help! “Our Bouvier Des Flanders, Thurston Howl the Third, is three year’s old. He is a very sweet and friendly dog, but he tends to get overly exited when we have guests. No one wants a 75+ pound dog bounding at them. Maria, from Mann’s Best Friend, was able to fully train Thurston into a new way of thinking and behaving. Her techniques had him acting like the perfect gentleman. Maria gave us homework assignments and we worked with Thurston according to her instructions. The family and other guests during the recent holidays were very impressed by his behavior. Thurston was able to participate in the festivities with the humans with no problem! “We have utilized Maria’s dog-sitting services numerous times for our two German Shepherds and three Pomeranians and couldn’t be more pleased. Like many, we found ourselves dissatisfied with our boarding experience at local kennels. Our dogs would routinely be in worse condition upon their return with things like kennel cough, urinary tract issues, heightened anxiety, skin irritations, among other problems. This isn’t the case with Maria, far from it, as our dogs are always as happy and healthy as the moment we leave them in her care. She truly loves animals, connects with them quickly, and has an arsenal of training should the need arise. I should also add that Maria is trustworthy, and we’ve never had any problems with her residing in our home whatsoever.
